NIGAG enters the blogosphere!

The Northern Ireland Government Affairs Group today launched into the blogosphere, with the first postings on the group\'s own blog.

NIGAG\'s blog (copy www.nigag.blogspot.com into your browser bar if the link doesn\'t work) will feature occassional posts from committee members, and already features three videos from a recent hustings event.

Chair of the group, Breedagh Hughes said entering the blogosphere was another important step in NIGAG\'s development.

"NIGAG is a vibrant group for public affairs professionals," she said. "It is important that we kep pace with developments in lobbying and public affairs.

"Our blog is one more step along that road and I encourage members and guests to visit and comment on our blog.

"I hope that post-election we will develop this and other social media further so that NIGAG keeps pace with developments in the latest professional public affairs practice to the benefit of all our members."
